<p>The 30 plus members of the Green Schools Committee were treated to a trip to the Botanic Gardens in Dublin last Tuesday. Here they learned about Biodiversity as well as partaking in activities that linked animals to plants. The students are working hard towards earning a Biodiversity flag for St Louis. <p>We recently welcomed 8 Swedish visitors as part of an Erasmus Project. Six students, Alice, Elin, Khadra, Lukas, Leo and Melwin &amp; two teachers &#8211; Sonia and Karin, joined us in St. Louis for 2 weeks and were a pleasure to have. <p>The Sisters of St. Louis have been honoured with a Civic Award by the Municipal District of Dundalk in recognition of their significant contribution over the last 75 years to the town and people of Dundalk. A Civic Reception was hosted by Louth County Council in County Hall on yesterday, attended by Sisters from the [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Our 5th and 6th year geography students made their annual trip to The Burren, Co.Clare, recently. They conducted a field study on the limestone pavement, visited the Aillwee Caves and explored the Cliffs of Moher.</p>

<p>We had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating the many cultures represented across our school community! A huge well done to everyone who took part and to all who joined us to make the experience so special!</p>

<p>Our 5th year students who study French visited the Alliance Francaise for breakfast and workshops this week! They also ventured across to the ‘magnifique’ National Gallery to view paintings and sculptures by French artists! </p>

<p>Huge congratulations to the Junior Volleyball Team who have made it through to the last six teams of the All Ireland schools Volleyball Championships. Two schools, one from Kells and one from Glasnevin, visited us today and the gym became a place of even more excitement and energy than normal. Well done to the eight team [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Women’s Aid introduced their new Drop In Garda Clinic which will be held in the Women’s Aid refuge, in conjunction with the Domestic Violence Unit in Dundalk Garda Station.
