Three exciting matches took places in the Louis gym last Wednesday as the Juniors took on Stepaside school from Dublin and Eureka school from Kells.
The last 11 from 35 teams from all over Ireland battled for a place in the Division C All-Ireland school volleyball semi-finals championships.
All three matches were very close but the opposition came with strength and skill that couldn’t be matched on the day.
The Louis spirit saw players stay determined and support each other until the end and to be generous with their wishes and gracious in defeat.
The whole squad should be extremely proud of themselves, the many hours they have dedicated to practice, and the undeniable energy that fills the gym every time they arrive at training.
A huge thank you to the 5th year helpers who have also given up their time, energy and effort in helping train the squad and to referee and help with matches, all of which I couldn’t have done on my own. Thank you.
Training continues for the Juniors, of which, all first and second years are welcome to attend training every Friday in the gym from 1.10pm-1.40pm.
