Teams and Clubs Celebration Lunch

The second annual Teams and Clubs lunch took place on Tuesday with almost 250 students celebrated and thanked for their commitment and dedication to extra-curricular activities. 

The picnic style lunch took place on the grass outside the gym and this was made even more special by the fabulous weather we continue to have. 

The mood was relaxed and cheery as students engaged in fun, chat and activities with summer tunes playing in the background. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the teachers who give up their free time to make these activities happen and it cannot be underestimated just how much extra time this requires. Teachers take on the roles of coach, manager, organiser and facilitator as they juggle their busy teaching timetables to squeeze in practices, matches, competitions, concerts, debates and so much more. Thank you, all of you for your dedication and commitment. 

The aim of the teams and clubs are to ensure all students are given the opportunity to develop their skills and talents outside of lesson time to help students grow in confidence, make new friends and flourish as individuals. 

We hope to see even more of you sign up to the clubs and activities in the next academic year.
