Due to the extreme nature of Storm Éowyn and the threat of multi-hazard weather events on Friday24 January as confirmed by Met Éireann, the National Emergency Coordination Group (NECG)has advised that all primary and post-primary schools in red warning areas will close for theduration of the red warning.
We will assess any damage after the storm passes and communicate with you over the weekend to confirm re-opening.
Stay indoors tomorrow and keep safe.
