The Music Department at St Louis is a vibrant and creative part of school life, led by Ms. Killoran, Ms Byrne and Ms. Morgan. Together, they bring a wealth of expertise and passion for music, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to experience the joy of music-making.

 

The faculty holds national recognition for their expertise within both the subject association and the SEC and they serve as examiners for both the practical and written components of the Leaving Certificate, ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning for St Louis students.

 

Across all programmes, students receive support from their teachers and can join the school choir or instrumental music group. Throughout the school year, there are numerous opportunities for students to showcase their talents and cultivate a lifelong love of music. Musical theatre trips are organised every year to the Bord Gais or other venues.
